Modern Apprenticeships train young people aged between 16 and 21 years for a career with qualifications. (Provision may be made for those over the age of 21 seeking a career change.)
Modern Apprenticeships co-ordinators can help set up an interview between a potential Modern Apprentice and employer. Co-ordinators can also help with a training agreement and study plans and paperwork.
The co-ordinator will visit your workplace regularly to provide support and assistance. Their services are free. The programme is supported by IndustryTraining Organisations and subsidised by government.
